Iowa Physical Therapy Continuing Education Requirements

Hours Needed:

Iowa PT's need 30 hours, PTA's need 20

Deadline:

Due every 2 years on the 15th of licensee's birth month

Home Study Limit:

There are no home study limitations

Additional Information:

2 hours of mandated report training is required within six months of employment or self-employment and one hour of additional training every 3 years. This is provided by DHS.
