  • Analyze sensory integration and receive an introduction to origins and theory development. 
  • Predict why sensory integration is central to development and child occupations.  
  • Differentiate sensory integration problems including modulation problems, poor sensory discrimination and perception, problems related to vestibular proprioceptive functions, and difficulties related to praxis. 
  • Assess typical development of visual perceptual skills. 
  • Determine the developmental sequence of visual perception including the visual-receptive and visual-cognitive functions.
