Muscle Release Technique is a unique injury therapy that combines compression, extension, movement, and breath to give the therapist a tool to relieve pain in one treatment. Muscle Release Technique has been demonstrated to provide relief for those who suffer from knee pain. This course provides instruction on a simple technique that applies pressure to the muscle while putting that muscle through a stretch.

This course is intended to instruct the professional to effectively perform the Muscle Release Technique to help clients with knee pain. 

Professional Objectives:

  1. Define the Muscle Release Technique.
  2. Identify the four quadriceps muscles
  3. Identify muscles that make up the hamstrings
  4. Identify the three adductor muscles
  5. Recognize the IT Band
