Professional Objectives:

  1. Identify common characteristics of the day-to-day SNF culture.
  2. Recognize the allowable services for each of them payor sources in a SNF.
  3. Identify factors related to productivity requirements and suggestions for achieving the goal and managing the respective caseload.
  4. Identify therapy assessments appropriate in the SNF setting.
  5. Recognize 5 age- related changes in the body that may be helpful to understand about SNF residents.
  6. Identify strategies to address challenges in treatment, such as noncompliance, refusals and low-levels of function.
  7. Identify state survey regulatory requirements to know and practice when working in a SNF.
