Iowa Occupational Therapy Continuing Education Requirements

Hours Needed:

Iowa OT's need 30 hours, OTA's need 15 hours


Due every 2 years on the 15th of licensee's birth month

Home Study Limit:

There are no home study limitations

Additional Information:

1 hrs of training in Child Abuse identification and Reporting every three years. Mandatory Reporter for Child/Adult abuse is required and does provide CE, but is only provided by IA DHS.
