This course will define and investigate the causes of sarcopenia. Participants will also learn how to screen for and treat sarcopenia.   • Differentiate methods of testing patients for sarcopenia.
  • Predict risk factors for developing muscle atrophy.
  • Organize a therapeutic exercise program that effectively treats sarcopenia and improves functional outcomes in daily activity & mobility.
  • Review how to educate patients on the nutritional components for treating sarcopenia. 
  • Utilize evidence-based methods to make therapeutic interventions the most effective in preventing and treating sarcopenia.
