Damien Howell PT, DPT, OCS

Damien is experienced in clinical education teaching, continuing education teaching and, previous academic teaching positions at Indiana University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Damien’s graduate studies were at University of Pennsylvania; Virginia Commonwealth University; and Washington University St. Louis.

Damien is an active clinician eager to share what he has learned from his extensive clinical experience. He has been using two-dimensional video motion analysis in his clinical practice for over 35 years.

He has a history of professional leadership roles with the American Physical Therapy Association, Virginia Physical Therapy Board, and Virginia Board of Health Professions. He is recipient of Virginia Physical Therapy Association awards the Beb Cash Award for Clinical Excellence; and Jack Echternach Research Award. He is recipient of the American Physical Therapy Association State Legislative Leadership Award.

He continues to provide example and mentoring to peers to provide evidence based, patient centered, effective, and efficient Physical Therapy.
