Wisconsin Continuing Education Requirements for Occupational Therapists & Assistants

According to the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing, Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants are now required to complete their required continuing education by May 31st, odd years. This change "occurred due to the creation of a new appropriation for all Medical Examining Board related professions", according to the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. Since your Wisconsin OT or OTA continuing education requirement has been pro-rated for this renewal period, you still have time to complete your continuing education requirement! For this renewal period, because of the date change, all Wisconsin Occupational Therapists, and Assistants will need only 19 points of continuing education before the May 31st, deadline, rather than the previous 24 points. (1 point = 1 hour of continuing education credit.) HomeCEU is an AOTA Approved Provider (#5608) and all our interactive online / mail format courses satisfy Wisconsin and NBCOT continuing education requirements for OTs and OTAs. With a 20-hour bundle pack from HomeCEU such as Stroke Rehab: A Function-Based Approach, OTs and OTAs can meet the entire continuing education requirement before the May 31, deadline from the convenience of their home. Simply select the 20-hour bundle pack option, then select the modules you are interested in. To view our course catalog please visit: www.homeceuconnection.com.
