Goals & Objectives:

Course Objectives: At the end of this webinar course the participant will be able to: 

  • After completing this course, the learner should be able to: Identify each phase of wound healing. 
  • Explain the healthcare provider’s responsibility in assessing and documenting wounds. 
  • Assess factors that may cause new wounds, or act as barriers to the normal healing process. 
  • Compare and contrast wounds of varying etiologies, both acute and chronic. 
  • Identify prevention interventions and appropriate treatment modalities of the wounds identified. 
  • Discuss legal implications for healthcare providers caring for patients with wounds.
