Upon the completion of this course, the learner will be able to: 

  • Discuss anatomic and physiologic differences between youth and adult runners. 
  • Describe common running-related injuries in youth athletes.  
  • Discuss key history and examination findings for running-related injuries.  
  • Develop a comprehensive, evidence-based rehabilitation program for youth athletes involved in running sports.  
  • State injury prevention strategies for youth athletes in running sports
