  • Define the anatomy and physiology that is involved with the development of pulmonary edema.   
  • Discuss some of the common causes of pulmonary edema. 
  • Determine what noncardiogenic pulmonary edema is.  
  • Determine what cardiogenic pulmonary edema is.   
  • Distinguish between cardiogenic and neurogenic pulmonary edema and the treatment for both.
