Healthcare professionals are instructed on the functions of fascia, differentiating between 4 main body tissues, 3 stages of tissue damage and recovery as well as conditions that are indicators for myofascial release. Professional Objectives:

  1. Select three functions of fascia.
  2. Recognize four main types of body tissues.
  3. Identify three stages of tissue damage and recovery.
  4. Identify four conditions that are indicators for myofascial release.
  5. Recognize difference between different myofascial release techniques and use of the appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Code for billing.
