Description:

Blood sugar dysregulation is a problem among Americans that is growing dangerously fast. Not only is it causing the obvious disease of diabetes, but blood sugar dysregulation also contributes to other problems such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer and obesity. This course will discuss the many factors that can contribute to blood sugar dysregulation such as poor nutrition, poor sleep habits, stress, lack of exercise, improper digestion, and environmental toxins. By addressing some of the root causes, we can learn how to make lifestyle changes that bring blood sugars back into balance and, in turn, have the potential to prevent and even reverse the chronic diseases we face today.

  2. Identify 6 lifestyle factors that contribute to blood sugar dysregulation
  3. Select changes we can encourage patients to make that can positively impact their blood sugar regulation
