Carmen Vitton M.S., CCC-SLP, RAC-CT, CDP

Carmen Vitton M.S., CCC-SLP, RAC-CT, CDP is the Chief Operating Officer for Rehab Synergies, a provider of Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy services for over 50 Residential and Transitional Care Facilities and Home Health agencies throughout Texas, which she started in 2010.   She has over 25 years of multi-facility, multi-state clinical, managerial and operational experience.

Carmen completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University with an interest in Audiology after beginning her program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She completed her Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  She was awarded the Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) Innovator of the Year Award in 2013.  Carmen is an American Speech-Language Association ACE Award recipient, has presented at Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association Conferences and is Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) through the American Association of Nurse Coordinators (AANAC).  She is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Divisions 11:  Administration and Supervision, Division 5:  Dysphagia and Division 7:  Aural Rehabilitation. 

Carmen is a member of The Dallas Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Roundtable, along with the following organizations:  Dysphagia Research Society, American College of Healthcare Executives and Who’s Who Among Top Female Executives.  She is a co-author of MannaQure, a Standardized English-to-Spanish Assessment of Dysphagia and Dysarthria, and is recognized as a contributor in the development of the Ross Information Processing Assessment Geriatric-RIPA-G 2.   Carmen became a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2015.
