This course, Connective Tissue Disorder Treatment with Muscle Release Techniques introduces the therapy professional to the prevalence and impact of connective tissue disruptive conditions such as adhesions, trigger points, and related imbalances. Several common pathologies and consequences of tissue imbalances are addressed. The course emphasizes the crucial skills of palpation as well as passive and active movement. Through understanding the basic nature and cause of these localized imbalances, and with application of simple, safe skills, the therapist can help clients reduce pain, speed recovery, and improve performance.
