New CE Rules in Effect For Virginia Physical Therapists

Effective July 17th of this year, the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy introduced new continuing education regulations and requirements for therapists. While physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are still required to complete 30 hours of CEs biennially, with a license renewal date of December 31st of every even year, the limits for the types of CEs has changed. It's a small change, but it can make the difference between a smooth renewal process and a colossal pain in the butt. Here are the changes (abridged and with pictures because we're not lawyers):
