Calling All Mississippi Speech-Language Pathologists!

Your Continuing Education Requirement Deadline is Coming!

If you are a Mississippi Speech-Language Pathologists, then state of Mississippi requires that all SLPs complete 20 hours of CEU's by June 30th of this year in order to renew their license. Of your 20 hours, 10 of those must be directly related to your scope of practice:

"Regulations set the requirement of 20 contact hours (CH) or 2 Continuing Education Units (CEU) to be accrued during the licensing term. No carryover of continuing education hours from one licensure period to another shall be allowed. At least fifty (50) percent (10 Contact Hours or 1 CEU) of the continuing education requirement must be directly related to the clinical practice of speech-language pathology or audiology."

That means courses that cover topics like documentation or ethics will only count towards 10 of those required hours. The good news is there is no home study limit so you can take all your courses online right here at HomeCEU!
