Scott Bruce, EdD, AT, ATC
Dr. Scott Bruce is a certified athletic trainer. He has over 30 years of experience in the profession working in multiple settings and with patients of all levels of competition and ages. Scott earned his doctorate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, his Master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and he did is undergraduate studies at East Stroudsburg University.
Scott’s research interests are in the areas of concussion and clinical prediction modeling. He has been involved in numerous research projects and was privileged to be a co-author on the NATA initial position statement on sport-related concussion. While in Chattanooga, Scott founded the Chattanooga Concussion Prevention Initiative incorporating a group of health care professionals with the goal of aiding in concussion education and with the assessment and management of concussion in and around the Chattanooga area.
