Lisa A. Gorski, MS, RN, HHCNS-BC, CRNI, FAAN, has worked for over 35 years as a clinical nurse specialist for Wheaton Franciscan Home Health & Hospice (now Ascension at Home). She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of WisconsinMilwaukee. She serves on the editorial board of Home Healthcare Now and served on the 2014 task force for the American Nurses Association’s Home Health Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. Since 2011, she has served as the chairperson of the Infusion Nurses Society Standards of Practice Committee. She is the author of more than 50 journal articles addressing home care and home infusion therapy and the author/editor of several books addressing infusion therapy, including four books specific to home infusion. She presents nationally and internationally on a wide variety of topics and was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Nursing in 2006.
