Dr. Boaen specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at Coastal Empire Orthopedics in Savannah, Georgia.  He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Institute.  He is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics. He is also a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA where he was F. Kathryn Edwards Scholarship Recipient. Dr. Boaen completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at UTCOM Chattanooga Department of Orthopaedics where he received the Program Director’s Academic Achievement Award.
