Dr. Piorkowski is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with additional board certifications in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He has a diverse clinical skill set that allows him to treat patients with a variety of injuries and conditions. Dr. Piorkowski received a BS from College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA and an MD from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. He completed a General Surgery Residency at University of Connecticut, Farmington, CT, a Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham, an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, and a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Piorkowski has affiliations with the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Surgery, American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
