Bud Ward

Bud Ward, PT, MPT, has been a licensed physical therapist and healthcare leader for over 20 years. He earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy and BS in Applied Health Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, as well as a BS in Biology from Salisbury University. He has worked in a variety of settings including corporate, home health, private practice, and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. His clinical background includes orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics, amputee rehabilitation, traumatic fracture management, manual therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. While at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, he treated many patients for orthopedic conditions related to cancer treatments. Bud has been a health and medical writer since 2015 and has authored several continuing education courses for physical therapists.
