As a Tennessee Occupational Therapists or Tennessee Occupational Therapist Assistant, if you are having a birthday in 2012 and you've not completed CEUs since 2010, then you are due to complete 24 hours of continuing education before December 31st of this year - 2011.
But, if you're wondering what exactly you can take to fulfill your continuing education requirements you're in the right place! According to the Tennesee Department of Health for Occupational Therapy, OTs and OTAs are required 24 hours of continuing education, and up to half of those hours may be completed via AOTA approved home study courses, while the other half must be "interactive" material.
HomeCEU Interactive Continuing Education Courses Satisfy CE Requirements for Tennessee OTs and OTAs
We have good news though, all
HomeCEU courses are considered interactive if taken online. So when ordering your HomeCEU course, be sure to select the "online version" to get full credit for hours taken. This applies to both our Seminars-On-Demand (video) courses, as well as our text-based courses such as, Tennessee Ethics and Jurisprudence, which must be completed every 2 years per Tennessee CEU requirements. More good news, all HomeCEU courses are approved by the AOTA via our Approved Provider Status, and therefore satisfy CEU requirements for Tennesee Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants. So what are you waiting for, get your CEUs completed before your December 31st deadline with an interactive continuing education course from
HomeCEU!
