For New Jersey Physical Therapist (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) the deadline to complete your required 30 physical therapy continuing education hours is fast approaching! Every Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of New Jersey must complete their required CEUs no later than January 31st every two years! So don't gamble with your continuing education requirement - read on to find out exactly what you need to take to complete your 30-hour requirement!

According to the New Jersey Board of PT Examiners, New Jersey PTs and PTAs may complete up to 10 hours of their continuing education requirement through approved home study flex package courses (distance learning), and the remaining 20 hours must be completed via live study (however, webinars, i.e. live online presentations with real-time interaction with presenter, are not considered distance learning & would not fall under the 10 hr limit).
