Gala at the Gait is hosted by ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship, a North Texas non-profit organization that offers therapeutic equestrian activities for children and adults with various disabilities. The event occurred Saturday, October 9th, 2010 and featured music and dancing, auctions and stories of inspiration.
ManeGait believes that in many ways, the horse is the ultimate physical therapist. By moving the rider's body in a manner similar to a human gait, therapeutic horseback riding helps children and adults with a range of disabilities gain strength, confidence and a sense of belonging.
